Nature Parc Centre

Felseck — Luisenburg

2025

Formed from local granite, the visitor centre is conceived as a quiet, enduring anchor in the Fichtel Mountains. Its honeycomb geometry leads visitors through a spiralling sequence of exhibitions and planted roof terraces, while trapezoidal openings bring precise cuts of light into the stone interior.

Rooted in place

Deeply rooted in the Fichtel Mountains, the proposal is conceived as an enduring anchor for the nature park. Its mass and quiet material palette defer to the landscape.

A continuous route turns the exhibition into an experience of compression, light and release, ending above the canopy with broad views across the forest.
