Profile

For me, architecture is a responsible response to its surroundings. I am interested in material honesty, in the character of existing structures and in spaces that make room for everyday life.

During a voluntary year in restoration, I learned to see value in old and seemingly worn walls. That experience still shapes the way I work: I prefer to begin with what is already there, understand it carefully and transform it without erasing its history.

Physical models are central to my process. Through them I test proportion, structure and light, searching for spaces with soul—precise, grounded and attentive to detail.
